The film received mixed reviews, who praised for its performances (particularly Skarsgård and Hader’s ones), production design, and themes, but was criticized for its runtime, pacing, and scares, which were unfavorably compared with its predecessor’s. ![]() It Chapter Two premiered in Los Angeles on August 26, 2019, and was theatrically released in North America on September 6, 2019, in 2D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX formats.
